Handmade using recycled clay and organic materials for an irreplicable color and speckle. Twice dipped in a custom-made satin white glaze with a semi-transparent finish, creating one-of-a-kind surface patterns.
My tallest wheel thrown vase to date, this piece was finished with a decorative, milk jug style handle for a rustic feel.
The interior features a special detail: Patches where the raw clay shows through because the glaze adhered inconsistently with the different clay bodies… A fingerprint of the unpredictability of making ceramics. Even though this beauty mark isn’t visible to anyone viewing the piece from the outside, you and I both know it’s there.
